This And That

Hello again. I am seriously the most boring person on the planet. I have nothing to write about so bare with me if I ramble.

Trav was suppose to go to the big day out this friday but he has a toothache and now has to go get a tooth pulled instead. How is that for luck hey! He is very annoyed, however going with a major toothache wouldn't be fun. He went to bed at 7pm tonight it hurts that much.

I am trying to upload some pictures to blogger but this damn thing never lets me. It always fails. I have to do it the URL way and that takes too long.

I'm thinking that this pay day will be hangbag shopping day. I saw a really cute pink one in strandbags the other day, but when I went back past it was gone. I am hoping it will be there when I go look again. I loved it! I am also going to get a decent exercise bike. I am too lazy to go out walking and I don't have a dog that will walk with me so I figure a bike will be good. Plus then I can slap it in front of the tv and kill two birds with one stone.

Anywho I think thats about enough from me. Starting to not make sense now. Take care.

R.I.P Handbag

Today is a very sad day. Today my very favourite handbag was laid to rest. I was on the way home from work and I discovered a hole in the side of my bag. A HOLE people. Was not impressed. And after much inspection I realized the hole is irrepairable.
Technically my bag hasn't yet been laid to rest. But it will have to be eventually. For now I will just use to to take to work, I will use my good ones to go out with. So sad.

Nothing else to report here. So I am going to go listen to U2 and hopefully con Trav into letting me change the tv station.

Thank God That's Over

I have to say that this has been a pretty long weekend. Not because it was eventful, mostly because it was so boring that it dragged on. Travs nephew was over from Western Australia to stay with his dad and he came to stay here last night.
Not to be mean or anything but I have never known a 15 year old to be so annoying or talk so much. I don't think I could have handled another day.

I have started looking for another job. Not hardcore yet, just browsing so far. I have seen a few that are interesting but I am not going to jump into anything just yet. Can't wait to see what my boss says tomorrow. I also can't wait for the day I can say to him " I Quit " Will be such a pleasurable moment.

Earlier today I was bored so I thought I would download ICQ again to see what that's like these days. And would you believe a few people from my old contact list were online?! I was shocked. I was sure that no one still even used that program but I was wrong. So I have been catching up with some old people on there and adding them to msn. I will go back to not using ICQ and delete it before I log off tonight.

I also found some old PC games I had. Most of them don't work anymore because of windows upgrades and stuff but it was still funny to see the old games I had. I bought a new version of Theme Hospital on ebay today. That was one game that I loved but no longer was compatable with XP. Thankfully the new one I bought will work on here. I hope so anyways.

I think now I am going to go and see what's on tv. I think I have some shows taped I can watch. Take care.

Pissed Off

My boss is the BIGGEST jerk on this planet. Yesterday I was given a written warning saying that I had too many sick days and that I was jeopardizing my job and any chance of a promotion because of it. Now this is complete crap. I have had 9 sick days in 2 years and they give us 10 a year so I don’t get what the problem is. The thing that bugged me the most was the fact that he said I have had more sick days then anyone else in the whole place. What a load of shit!! There are people there that take off a day a week sick but he says I have had the most off. Whatever.
I was also pretty annoyed at the fact that he said that because of having these days off it made me look immature and unreliable so that is why he hasn’t given me a promotion. It feels like entrapment or harassment. I will be going to see the big boss Monday afternoon and I will not be signing the warning because then that would mean that I have done something wrong.

Onto other news, I have become addicted to The Sims again. I was playing it just before but needed a break so I figured I would write in here. Time flies when I play that game.

I went shopping earlier and I got a calender with puppies in it for $3 down from $20, I bought Trav 2 polo shirts at $5 each. A sims pets add on for The Sims 2 and I couldn’t go past the bookshop without having a look.
I came out with 2 books, The Secret Dreamworld Of A Shopaholic by Sophie Kinsella. Looks interesting, about a girl who shops way too much and gets into debt and stuff. And the other book I got was Star Struck by Pamela Anderson. Now don’t laugh at that. This is the follow on to her first book Star, which really wasn’t that bad. Considering who she is, her books are pretty decent.
No other news here at the moment. Finally the weekend!!!! Have a good one guys.

Weekend Is Over

I can't believe the weekend is over already. I swear it was only yesterday that I was leaving work ready for the weekend. How sad.

On friday I took my neice to the zoo. Was fun. I got slightly sunburnt. Mostly because I was too busy making sure Hannah didn't get burnt. It was her first time going to the zoo so I felt very special. However she is only just over a year old so she probably has forgotten about it already.

She loves the animals. But she hates them being near her. We went to the childrens zoo and she freaked out when they walked near us. She was quite content watching them though. By about 3pm she had passed out in her pram.

I took a few pictures which I will post later this week sometime. Not much else to say here. Had a pretty boring weekend. We watched Over The Hedge last night. Have to say that wasn't as good as I was expecting. The Break Up is on this week though, can't wait to see that one.

Well I'm off to play the sims, see if they will burn their houses down today!! Take Care.

Satisfaction

I have come to the conclusion that no matter how thin I am, I will never be satisfied. I was just watching a show about playboy bunnies and they are pretty much perfect, despite acting dumb on occassion. But my point is, they are gorgeous yet I still managed to find something wrong with them!!! If I can find faults in them, I will be much more critical of myself. . .

Onto other news, I have been looking around at animal shelters to do some volunteering. So far I have had no luck because of the hours they need people. Unfortunately they are the same hours that I have to go to work. If the animal places paid I would be there in a heart beat. So for now I will have to just wait until I can make the time. I mean come on, who wouldn't want to go play with this face every day . . .

Cute huh?? I also have just bought a party add on for my Playboy The Mansion game. Can't wait to get it!

Well I'm back to post a few quick pics. We finished the wardrobe and its safe to say I manage to save everything. Everything except one handbag!!! It was totally trashed and ready for the bin so I was ok to part with it. Atleast he can't say I didn't throw anything out!

Last night we had some weird weather, so I took these while sitting on our front porch. Its amazing what can happen in the sky. The first was at about 4pm. The other 2 were taken a few hours later when the sun was setting.


And lastly this is a picture I bought Trav a while ago. The thing is huge. But today we finally made room and hung the thing up!!!!

Axed

Can you believe that The O.C has been axed? I love that show. Admittedly it has gone slightly downhill over the years but it is still a cool show. There are plenty of shows that get worse but they keep airing them!! Oh well, moving on.

So we didn't get to the zoo. It was still pretty muggy after work and then it started to rain pretty badly. Probably wouldn't have been much fun being hot and raining. Another day for sure though.

Well this is going to be a short entry because the boy has decided to clean out the wardrobe so I want to be there so he doesn't throw anything good out!!! I will post some pictures next time I am on!

Sliced And Diced

Well hello! How are we all?? I am good, however I just sliced my thumb open. Hence the title. I was chopping onions and the knife slipped. Made a nice big gash on my thumb. It has finally stopped bleeding, still hurts like a bitch though!!! The plus side is I got all the onion to myself cause I told everyone I bled on them (which I didn't).

So the new year is finally here. We went to a friends house and played foos ball and poker. I won poker which I am damn proud of. It's actually one game I am really good at!!!!
We missed the ticking over to midnight because the radio station we had it on was shit!!! They didnt even count down. It beeped a few times, then they said " well 2007 is finally here " How dodgey is that?

I spend a fair bit of the night with their dog. They got a staffy puppy from the pound and it has spend most of its life being beaten or yelled at. The poor thing was afraid of everyone yelling and making noise. Such a cute dog.

One girl nearly got blinded. Our friends husband popped a party popper near her ear but she turned and it got her in the eye. Luckily it was just a bit red, nothing serious.

I am tired from it all though. We got home at 8am. I went to bed for a while then got up at 10:30am because if I slept all day I wouldn't never have gotten up for work today. So I am counting down the minutes til I can go to bed and catch up on some sleep.

Tomorrow night I am going to invest in a foosball table. They are relatively cheap and we had so much fun playing it the other night. Also we are going to the zoo friday night as it open late. But I will not be going if it stays at the 40 degrees it is meant to be.

Well I am off now, I am going to go watch Girls Of The Playboy Mansion. Very funny show. Take care.
