A Steal

I have finally caught up on all my tv and all the books I wanted to read, so now I can take some time to write in here. Although it hasn't been easy because lately when I try and log on it won't let me! How rude.

I am currently reading The Secret Dreamworld Of A Shopoholic. But I mostly just read that when I have a few moments spare. Can't wait to get the next book in the series.

So I got a new hangbag!! It's not really a conventional handbag though so I have to get a new one that I can take to work. Anyways, it's a metallic pinky colour and it's made by Guess. It was the best find that I have ever found. It was originally $120 and I got it for $55.95. I thought I was seeing things for sure!! I will have to take a picture of it to show you.

The Clipsal 500 is next weekend and I am so excited. I love V8 Supercars. The only bad thing is that the temperature is meant to be extremely hot. Not much fun!

Ugly Betty is on shortly so I might go and make us some tea before it starts. Sorry this was a short one! Take care

Gosh it's been so long since I have written in here. Well I guess it hasn't been that long, but long enough.

I guess I don't really have anything of interest to write. Today is Valetines Day. Nothing overly special happened. We agreed no presents. It's just not that important. Although we did get cards. But the whole no presents thing kinda got forgetten because when I got home from work today Trav had bought me roses. And now I feel bad because I didn't get him anything. It's his birthday on friday though, so it will be made up for then.

Last weekend went by pretty quick. We had our niece for the whole weekend. She is so hilarious. And I tell you what, she is going to be one hell of a teenager. She already throws tantrums if she doesn't get her way and sulks and she is only 1! Was fun either way.

I am going to go out shopping for a decent womens suit tomorrow. I have a baby shower to go to saturday and then we are going out for Travs birthday so I would like something decent to wear. And something that I know I will wear again. Being 40 on saturday doesn't sound too pleasant though. Much rather it rained.

Well I am thinking that's about it from me today. Need to go do some of my tafe stuff before I put it off again! Take care.

Oh yeah, our hot water system just died and it can't be fixed til tomorrow evening. Cold showers for us!!

World War 3

It has been world war 3 in my house for the last few days. Thankfully none of it involves Travis or I but none the less we were around.

It all started when my step sister decided she wanted to move back in to save some money. She is a friend of mine but we are better friends when we don't live together. She is selfish, lazy and rude. So that's basically what caused it all.

She is the laziest person I know. And she is a Daddys Girl so she gets away with all of it. On friday night my mum asked her to please put her dirty clothes in the basket. She has a thing for leaving them lying everywhere and her room stinks because of it.
Well the step sister went mental about it. She slammed doors, swore at people. And get this, she went into her room and threw EVERY item of clothing she owns onto the floor. Then came out and said " now tell me to pick them up " Very mature I say.
After that she went out and didn't come back until everyone was in bed.

So fast forward to this afternoon and my mum asks her why she is acting like this. Well the step sister went off again. She packed up all of her stuff and is now going to live at her grandmothers house. Which frankly is fine by us because it's a lot less drama.

But now my step dad is in a bad mood with everyone because apparently his precious daughter was pushed out and we didn't give her any choice blah blah blah. It wouldn't matter what happened he would take her side. Even though it's something that no one can really take sides in. She is immature, pure and simple.

Well that's my little rant for the day lol. Heat must be getting to me. Take Care!

This And That

Hello again. I am seriously the most boring person on the planet. I have nothing to write about so bare with me if I ramble.

Trav was suppose to go to the big day out this friday but he has a toothache and now has to go get a tooth pulled instead. How is that for luck hey! He is very annoyed, however going with a major toothache wouldn't be fun. He went to bed at 7pm tonight it hurts that much.

I am trying to upload some pictures to blogger but this damn thing never lets me. It always fails. I have to do it the URL way and that takes too long.

I'm thinking that this pay day will be hangbag shopping day. I saw a really cute pink one in strandbags the other day, but when I went back past it was gone. I am hoping it will be there when I go look again. I loved it! I am also going to get a decent exercise bike. I am too lazy to go out walking and I don't have a dog that will walk with me so I figure a bike will be good. Plus then I can slap it in front of the tv and kill two birds with one stone.

Anywho I think thats about enough from me. Starting to not make sense now. Take care.

R.I.P Handbag

Today is a very sad day. Today my very favourite handbag was laid to rest. I was on the way home from work and I discovered a hole in the side of my bag. A HOLE people. Was not impressed. And after much inspection I realized the hole is irrepairable.
Technically my bag hasn't yet been laid to rest. But it will have to be eventually. For now I will just use to to take to work, I will use my good ones to go out with. So sad.

Nothing else to report here. So I am going to go listen to U2 and hopefully con Trav into letting me change the tv station.

Thank God That's Over

I have to say that this has been a pretty long weekend. Not because it was eventful, mostly because it was so boring that it dragged on. Travs nephew was over from Western Australia to stay with his dad and he came to stay here last night.
Not to be mean or anything but I have never known a 15 year old to be so annoying or talk so much. I don't think I could have handled another day.

I have started looking for another job. Not hardcore yet, just browsing so far. I have seen a few that are interesting but I am not going to jump into anything just yet. Can't wait to see what my boss says tomorrow. I also can't wait for the day I can say to him " I Quit " Will be such a pleasurable moment.

Earlier today I was bored so I thought I would download ICQ again to see what that's like these days. And would you believe a few people from my old contact list were online?! I was shocked. I was sure that no one still even used that program but I was wrong. So I have been catching up with some old people on there and adding them to msn. I will go back to not using ICQ and delete it before I log off tonight.

I also found some old PC games I had. Most of them don't work anymore because of windows upgrades and stuff but it was still funny to see the old games I had. I bought a new version of Theme Hospital on ebay today. That was one game that I loved but no longer was compatable with XP. Thankfully the new one I bought will work on here. I hope so anyways.

I think now I am going to go and see what's on tv. I think I have some shows taped I can watch. Take care.

Pissed Off

My boss is the BIGGEST jerk on this planet. Yesterday I was given a written warning saying that I had too many sick days and that I was jeopardizing my job and any chance of a promotion because of it. Now this is complete crap. I have had 9 sick days in 2 years and they give us 10 a year so I don’t get what the problem is. The thing that bugged me the most was the fact that he said I have had more sick days then anyone else in the whole place. What a load of shit!! There are people there that take off a day a week sick but he says I have had the most off. Whatever.
I was also pretty annoyed at the fact that he said that because of having these days off it made me look immature and unreliable so that is why he hasn’t given me a promotion. It feels like entrapment or harassment. I will be going to see the big boss Monday afternoon and I will not be signing the warning because then that would mean that I have done something wrong.

Onto other news, I have become addicted to The Sims again. I was playing it just before but needed a break so I figured I would write in here. Time flies when I play that game.

I went shopping earlier and I got a calender with puppies in it for $3 down from $20, I bought Trav 2 polo shirts at $5 each. A sims pets add on for The Sims 2 and I couldn’t go past the bookshop without having a look.
I came out with 2 books, The Secret Dreamworld Of A Shopaholic by Sophie Kinsella. Looks interesting, about a girl who shops way too much and gets into debt and stuff. And the other book I got was Star Struck by Pamela Anderson. Now don’t laugh at that. This is the follow on to her first book Star, which really wasn’t that bad. Considering who she is, her books are pretty decent.
